The next step will be to decide how many people you want to make dinner for. You can select from as few as 1 person all the way up to 4 people.
This is another cool thing about Green Chef – most services require you to order meals for at least 2 people, but Green Chef works for those who may live alone, or who will be the only person in the household eating Green Chef meals each week.
After you’ve decided how many people will be eating Green Chef each week, you will want to pick you menu type. You will be able to choose from the following options:

Green Chef Alternatives
Green Chef is one of our top-rated meal kit delivery programs here at TheDietDynamo.com, but that doesn’t mean that it’s going to be for everyone.
In the rare event that Green Chef isn’t going to work for you, there are some other very solid meal kits out there that can also make a great choice.
Other Top-Rated Meal Kits
- Blue Apron
- Hello Fresh
- Sun Basket
These three our some of our favorites too, and Blue Apron is actually my favorite so far.
It turns out, Green Chef doesn’t ship to Montana yet, so I was one of those folks who had to look for something different.
I really wanted to try their keto menu, so it was kind of a bummer, but I will say that I have been super happy with my Blue Apron experience (read about it here).
When it comes time choose a meal kit delivery program, like Green Chef, there a few factors you may want to consider, including:
- Quality of Ingredients
- Menu Options
While Blue Apron has been great for me, their specialty menu is a bit more limited than some of the other plans out there.
If you’re looking for something that more closely resembles the Green Chef program, then I would suggest checking out Sun Basket.
They have many of the same menu options as Green Chef, so if Green Chef doesn’t ship to your area, maybe Sun Basket will.
Either way, it’s worth checking out if Green Chef doesn’t work for you for whatever reason.
