Blue Apron is one of our top-rated meal kit delivery services, but even with as great as it is, there may come a time when you decide you want to pause or cancel your order.
Fortunately, Blue Apron makes the entire process super easy, so you don’t have to stress out about dealing with a pushy customer service rep, or even having to call at all – the entire cancellation process can be done online without ever having to talk to anyone.
Pausing or Canceling Your Blue Apron Order
When it comes to canceling a Blue Apron order, there are a few important things to keep in mind. If your order shows up in your dashboard as having been “processed” or it has already shipped, you won’t be able to cancel that shipment of food. But, any future shipments or orders can be canceled or paused at any time.
If you want to halt Blue Apron shipments, there are a couple of routes you can go – keep in mind that most of this can be done in your Blue Apron dashboard on their website, so head there to pause or skip orders.
1. Skipping Blue Apron Shipments
Blue Apron allows for the option to skip weeks, which is nice, especially around the holidays. I decided to skip the week of Thanksgiving because I knew I wouldn’t be needing Blue Apron during that time period.
It’s also a nice option if you have a planned vacation, are traveling for work, or for any other reason that you may just not need their food during a particular time period.
2. Pausing Blue Apron Orders Long-Term
The next option when it comes to canceling is putting your shipments on “pause.” This means you will no longer receive any shipments from Blue Apron until you log back into your account and say that you want them to start sending you meal kits again.
This is a great option if you just want to take a break from Blue Apron for a while, but think there’s a chance that you will want to use their delivery service again at some point in the future.
3. Canceling Your Account Completely
If you know that you will never use Blue Apron again, then there’s an option to cancel your account entirely. If you decide to go this route, you will want to email their Customer Experience Team to get the process started:
Once you’ve reached out to them, they should send you an email with instructions for canceling your account.
Blue Apron Customer Support Phone Number
Some folks prefer to call and speak to an actual person when canceling orders, or when needing customer service of any kind. If this happens to be you, you can get in touch with the folks at Blue Apron using the following number:
Canceling, pausing, or skipping Blue Apron orders is painless and easy. They have a great customer support team, and the entire process can pretty much be done online. Simply follow the steps above, or visit their official website for more information.
